PPCP, Inc. - Company
Profile
History
The company was started in 1983 and is located at 521 N. 3rd Ave.
in Lebanon, PA. It is owned by Richard L. Miller, Jr.
The Miller family has a rich history in the foundry business. Richard’s
grandfather, Lee Miller, started Quaker Alloy in Myerstown in 1954.
He sold the foundry to Harsco in the late 1960’s at which
time Lee’s son, Richard Sr., was president and Richard Jr.
was responsible for the Finance Department. In 1983, Richard saw
the opportunity to build his own investment foundry located in Myerstown,
PA.
Because of continued growth within the company and lack of space
in the Myerstown facility, Richard purchased the Pattern Shop of
the Lebanon Steel Foundry located on N. 2nd and 3rd Ave. in Lebanon
in 1991. For one year, both plants were utilized. In 1992, the Myerstown
plant was closed and PPCP moved to the Lebanon facility.
PPCP has grown to $15,000,000 in sales and employs approximately
150 people.
